Helping Mum

This morning Henry and I helped mum clean up.  She said there's more fur on the floor than on me... cheek!  Cleaning the stairs with a hand brush was even more fun until she told me my help wasn't wanted and I could just watch.

Yeah, I know... long time since my last post

I thought this was a rather good snapshot of me - like it?

On the way home with the den-on-wheels, Mum snatched a rather cheeky pic of me relaxing on the back seat of the car - embarrassing or what?

Bank Holiday Fun

Last Monday we had something called a Bank Holiday - I've decided I like those as it meant I got to spend the day with lots of family. Dad's car took us to Retford.  Dad went and did the bell ringing thing, but Mum & I went to Mike & Dee's house.

"Hey Mum.. smells of cat here and Mum, the cat's left me her..."

"OSCAR NO! You're NOT going to eat the cat's breakfast!"  and with that, she took it away - I was only going to be helpful and wash it up!

"Mum, I can't find the cat.  I can smell her.   Oooh look, there's a kitty litter tray.......... yeah ok, I'll leave it!"

I taught Mike how to fetch a stick.  I showed him then encouraged him to fetch it.  He did quite well!
I also taught young Catherine how to walk nicely with me.  She enjoyed that.

A really exciting place.
It felt so nice to be in cool water but got a bit worried when I started to float so I rushed back.

After my paddle I felt so refreshed and bounded off down the path with lots of energy.

By the time we got back to the car, they said we had walked for about 5-6 miles.

We said goodbye to the others and Mum & I told the car to go find Dad.   We all then went to sleep (well I did, anyway) and in an instant woke up and we were home.
