Car took us to collect some human tablets from a place called a "dog taw" but I wasn't allowed to meet the dog. Then we went to see my new vet's place and collect medicine for Charlie cat. The lady was lovely. .. came and fussed me and said what a lovely boy I am :) I stood on her scales too and I'm "spot on". After that we went to a shop then for a lovely walk when we checked on the goats again but they wouldn't come to talk to me. Now guess what I'm doing? Yup zzzzzzzzzz

Busy day
Went out in car with Mum... eventually. Dad wanted a late start for some unfathomable reason and, even though Mum, Charlie cat & I'd been up since 6.30, he didn't come down until almost 9am. They then had coffee, talked, watched the coloured talking picture box and finally got round to the day.

Down the pub again :)
Mum and Dad took me out for lunch.
First we went to the pet shop to get me a bone then to the bakers to buy Mum & Dad a pasty each. You see the pub doesn't serve food, but encourages people to take their own. Neat idea really.
It's a good place... a very good place. Doggies welcome, nice open fires and, I'm told, good cider, beer and coffee. They wouldn't let me taste the beer myself, so I can't comment. I did get a drink of water though, specially provided for doggie customers.
Would you like to know where it is? It's the Yarborough Hunt in Brigg, North Lincs.

I got an "-ology"!
I passed puppy school... yay!!!
Thanks so much to Auntie Marion for helping Mum and Dad to get our KC Good Citizen awards scheme underway with the Puppy Foundation stage. I think we did a pretty good job on it and learned a lot together!
Now to go for Bronze, Silver and Gold at Big School in Scunthorpe :))
More family humans... I like!!
Yesterday Mum went out and then later came back with more human family to meet me. There was a son-human called Mike or Jaz (I thought that was strange to have two names, but Mum said it's a nickname, like when Dad calls me "Mutley" sometimes.. ok whatever!). Then there was a daughter-in-law-human called Dee and a granddaughter-human called Catherine. Mike-Jaz is TERRIFIC. He knows all about what humans should do to doggies, tickled me, scratched me, played with me, loved me, talked to me and gave me snacks too. Catherine is funny - she is a very small human and liked to sit on the floor with me; I followed her round the house to show her everything and look after her and then I took her to the park to play. She liked that. I had to be a bit careful with Dee as she seemed nervous and a bit worried that I might hurt her. She soon came round and today said she'd like to have a puppy dog just like me :)
Now on the topic of today - this afternoon I showed them all our magic "car". It took us to the seaside again in an instant... honestly, you just close your eyes and when you open them, you've arrived! I kept Mum on the lead for a bit and then let her loose when it was quiet. I met some new pals too. One was a real hoot - he was a lab just like me, taking his Mum and Dad and two mini-humans for a run. They didn't mind waiting while we had a doggie play but when the Dad human tried to call my mate to him the naughty boy said no and persuaded me that we should just keep playing. Well seems fair to me cos Mum and Dad make me wait for things so I thought they could wait this time if she called me. Well, you won't guess what happened. My mate got a right lick on and ran towards his Dad to tease him and the Dad stepped to one side and they collided and both landed on the ground - laugh... oh it made tears run down my face. When the humans all realised he wasn't hurt they laughed too. I thought I'd better go back to Mum then and she was really pleased.
When we'd had a good walk we went for a different adventure. Mum said it was a "real train" not one of those silly ones Dad takes me to see at Barrow Haven! It made funny hissy noises ... reminded me of Charlie cat! It was a fun adventure as when you sit in it the world rushes past.. then it stops and you're somewhere else. Soon we were back at car and I blinked and was back home for a rest before puppy school.... ZZZZZzzzzzz

A Visit to Mr Numpty
Oscar.............car!! he says. Yipeeeeee, we are off to somewhere exciting. So, outside, leap in the car, but don't really notice that between the door and the car there is wet stuff dropping out of the sky. Dad says, 'Never mind, you won't melt'. He drives me off to a field somewhere and heads for a parking spot that is knee deep in mud and water. We're going to get stuck I think.
Not a chance says Dad. Four-wheel drive, 'same as you' he says. He was right. Another car followed us in. We kept going and turned round and parked up, and the car behind who I think Dad said was driven by a man called 'Mr Numpty' tried to follow us. He discovered he had made a serious mistake. I did not know that a car's wheels can go round and round whilst the car stands still. Dad seemed to think it was really funny. The Springer Spaniel in the car seemed to think so too.
So, we got out and I then discovered that Dad expected me to go and run about, descending wet stuff not withstanding. Oh well, thought I might as well make the most of it so I did. When we got back Mr Numpty had escaped leaving a muddy hole! Now back in front of the cat-toaster. Wonder when he will be done, or do we need to turn him over?
