Trains and magic car and caravan

Sorry not updated for a little while, Mum and Dad won't give me the password to do it unsupervised. So what's been going on? Ah yes, the big trip away for Dad to become 60.  On the Friday we went walking in the High Peak... such stupendous smells!  Got nearly back to the car when I spotted a stream...'goodie, I need a drink'....  Dunno what came over me, but I leapt across a mucky bit to get to the fresh water... Splash!  Argh it was chilly, but kind of nice.  I had a drink and then ran around in it. Mum and Dad were laughing at me, no idea why.  I tried to jump back over the muddy mucky bit, but couldn't, so I ended up coated... it had something of a special aroma about it, a bonus!   Dad decided to take me to a cleaner bit to wash, but not very successfully.   Back at the car I got a heavenly  massage with a towel, mum knows just how to make a doggie happy.

Saturday morning started with a trip via the magic car. We woke up in a place with steam trains.  Mum and I left Dad to play with a couple of other chaps in an engine for a couple of hours (Dad-school?) and we went to a shop.  I had a marvellous surprise later, lots of lovely human family  came to see me and fuss me and ride on a train then walk with me :). There was the daughter Helen with Carl, the son Jaz with Dee & Catherine, the Sister Fiona with Mhairi & Fraser plus Pat too.  They all came back to see the caravan, our little home on wheels. I loved showing them round and seeing how much fuss I could get.

Sunday there was another train ride... The big monsters that puff and pant and blow steam are dead impressive beasts. No wonder Dad loves them.

Then we had to pack up and get ready for car to magic us home.

"Oscar, on your bed"
"Aww, why?..... Ok, ok, consider it done".
"Stay!  I'm putting stuff in the car"

And off she walked.  She didn't look that cheerful so I thought I'd give her some fun and I sneaked up on the seat by the window, pressing my nose to the glass..
"Muuuum..cooeee!"
She turned...
"Oscar, off the seat, you know the rules!"
I ducked down out of sight...   I ran back to bed so by the time she opened the  door I was just where she left me.  It made her giggle.  Mission accomplished. ðŸ˜Ž

Life is fair back to normal now, just a bit hotter.  Someone has put a heater in the sky; neat, eh?  We've had lots of walks... Mum needs more lead training though as she's not getting the idea that she follows me wherever I decide to go, at whatever speed I want to go there.  She seems to think it's her that decides.
