Yesterday Mum went out and then later came back with more human family to meet me. There was a son-human called Mike or Jaz (I thought that was strange to have two names, but Mum said it's a nickname, like when Dad calls me "Mutley" sometimes.. ok whatever!). Then there was a daughter-in-law-human called Dee and a granddaughter-human called Catherine. Mike-Jaz is TERRIFIC. He knows all about what humans should do to doggies, tickled me, scratched me, played with me, loved me, talked to me and gave me snacks too. Catherine is funny - she is a very small human and liked to sit on the floor with me; I followed her round the house to show her everything and look after her and then I took her to the park to play. She liked that. I had to be a bit careful with Dee as she seemed nervous and a bit worried that I might hurt her. She soon came round and today said she'd like to have a puppy dog just like me :)
Now on the topic of today - this afternoon I showed them all our magic "car". It took us to the seaside again in an instant... honestly, you just close your eyes and when you open them, you've arrived! I kept Mum on the lead for a bit and then let her loose when it was quiet. I met some new pals too. One was a real hoot - he was a lab just like me, taking his Mum and Dad and two mini-humans for a run. They didn't mind waiting while we had a doggie play but when the Dad human tried to call my mate to him the naughty boy said no and persuaded me that we should just keep playing. Well seems fair to me cos Mum and Dad make me wait for things so I thought they could wait this time if she called me. Well, you won't guess what happened. My mate got a right lick on and ran towards his Dad to tease him and the Dad stepped to one side and they collided and both landed on the ground - laugh... oh it made tears run down my face. When the humans all realised he wasn't hurt they laughed too. I thought I'd better go back to Mum then and she was really pleased.
When we'd had a good walk we went for a different adventure. Mum said it was a "real train" not one of those silly ones Dad takes me to see at Barrow Haven! It made funny hissy noises ... reminded me of Charlie cat! It was a fun adventure as when you sit in it the world rushes past.. then it stops and you're somewhere else. Soon we were back at car and I blinked and was back home for a rest before puppy school.... ZZZZZzzzzzz
